  • Get involved to support local men's mental health charity!

We’re holding a charity spin event from 9am – 4pm on 23 November to raise funds to help the Mulligan Club, a local men’s mental health support group.

We’re looking for volunteers to take part in the accumulative 7 hour sponsored spin session. Students and staff can sign up to complete a minimum of 15 minutes each (email vaughans@chesterfield.ac.uk to take part).

We will be looking for kind donations/sponsors on the day in the hope to be able to raise some money and help The Mulligan Club provide their group and support services locally, helping make a huge difference to Men’s Mental Health.

  • This week is Transgender Awareness Week! 🏳️‍⚧ This week takes place from 13th-19th of November leading up to Trans Day of Remembrance on 20th of November, an important day of remembrance for those lives we have sadly lost to transphobic violence. This week we want to celebrate our transgender and non-binary students and support their fight against inequality and discrimination.
We aim to create a safe space within the college for all our LGBTQIA+ learners and staff and we offer support groups within the college for anyone to join. We are proud of our college and our learners, and we hope you are proud of yourselves every day. ❤🏳️‍⚧🏳️‍🌈
