A Level Physics

Studying Physics will give you the chance to investigate and understand some of the fundamental laws of the universe, from the tiniest particles of matter to vast star systems. We embrace both the practical and theoretical sides of physics so you’ll also get involved in lots of practical experiments to put your new skills and knowledge to the test.

A Level Chemistry

A Level Chemistry will be brought to you in various lectures, workshops and practical laboratory sessions by experienced chemist Dr Kirsty Davey. You will require a passion for Chemistry to fuel your studies during this demanding but very rewarding course.

A Level Biology

A level biology is the study of life itself. The course explores the theories and principles involved in all living systems. Topics you will learn about include: lifestyle, transport, genes and health, development, plants and the environment, the natural environment and species survival, energy, exercise and co-ordination, as well as practical biology and research skills. The course will provide you with the chance to gain a solid understanding of the principles of genetics, molecules, taxonomy, natural selection, evolutionary theory, global warming, bacteria, viruses, and more.

GCSE Biology

If you want to improve your science knowledge for either a career change or just for self improvement then this course is ideally suited to you. This is an intensive one year programme that will help you work towards achieving a grade 9-4. Available on either a daytime and evening basis.
