Every day I am privileged to witness our staff inspiring the futures of our students and apprentices, giving them hope and confidence to fulfil their ambitions and build a successful future.
In the heart of our community, Chesterfield College, in collaboration with partners and stakeholders, continues to develop strong and sustainable working relationships across Derbyshire to support the growth and success of our town and county.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the
schools, businesses, parents and carers and all other stakeholders for the incredible support we receive, which is invaluable in preparing our young people for their next steps and helping adults to develop and further their careers.
Our strategic plan predominantly represents the voice of our staff, students, apprentices, parents/carers, employers, governors and stakeholders and their engagement and enthusiasm contributes significantly to the strategic direction of the college.
The world is changing at phenomenal pace and
as educators we need to continue to invest in our
colleagues, facilities and resources to equip our
local economy with the skills it needs to prosper,
building ladders of progression for our students and apprentices.
We look forward to continuing to build on the amazing work undertaken in our town so far as we begin to deliver our new strategy in partnership with you all.
