We’re delighted to announce we’ve been recognised as a commended college by the AoC Beacon Awards, praising the work of our Construction Skills Hub at Mastin Moor.
Construction Skills Hub receives AoC Beacon Award Commended status

Over the next decade, the Hub will support more than 5,000 students, from school leavers to adults seeking to retrain. Its curriculum is aligned with industry needs, including sustainability and the Future Homes Standard, ensuring students gain relevant skills and progression pathways into the construction workforce.
As a commended college in the Edge Award for Excellence in Real World Learning category, we now await the finalists announcement on the 18th November at the AoC Conference. It’s wonderful to once again see this innovative project gaining national praise and recognition for the impact it’s having on the industry and local community.
