Award nominations for AAT team

We know that with decades of industry experience, our Accounting curriculum are rather good at what they do but it’s absolutely wonderful when industry bodies recognise them for all of their hard work. It’s a delight to see us nominated by AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) for not one, BUT TWO awards:

  • AAT Medium Training Provider of the Year
  • AAT Tutor of the Year – Faye Hill

Faye consistently receives incredible feedback from her learners, we are over the moon she has been recognised by the AAT, and not for the first time we might add!

Curriculum Manager for Accounting, Paul Bramall explains, “The department works extremely hard and I am so proud that Faye has been shortlisted again for the second year as Tutor of the Year. She is a fantastic tutor and the backbone of our department. To also be shortlisted for Medium Training Provider is truly amazing and we want to keep building on the success of our students and growing our provision.

“We are proud to be one of the very few colleges in the UK that offer all of the AAT qualifications, from level 1 through to level 4, all our classes are face-to-face, flexible in terms of delivery (courses could be daytime or evening for example) and we have excellent numbers across each level. We even offer two AAT short courses for even greater flexibility. We literally have a course for everyone interested in accounting, whether a beginner or already working in a relevant role.”

We now wait to see if the team and Faye are successful in winning the awards when winners are announced at the Training Provider Conference and Awards gala dinner on Thursday 13 March.
