This is the introductory level of the AAT Accounting Qualification. It covers a range of basic accounting practices and techniques, from costing and double-entry bookkeeping to digital accounting systems.
It is suitable for those who are new to accounting and finance, unqualified accounting staff who want to enhance their foundation knowledge and skills, employers looking to upskill their staff and people looking to change their careers. It is a course that really suits adults who would like to return to learning and develop their working skills.
It can lead to a job in finance: accounts administrator, payroll administrator or accounts assistant.
To apply students need to apply online and then come in for an information session. AAT is also available as an Apprenticeship route.
