The Advanced Diploma in Accounting introduces more complex accounting tasks, like maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns. It is perfect if you have completed the AAT L2 Foundation Certificate in Accountancy, or you are already at a more advanced level and you’re looking to develop your accounting skills.
It can lead to a job in finance: payroll supervisor, audit trainee, finance assistant.
AAT is also available as an Apprenticeship route – apply though Learning Unlimited. Apprentices study in class with fee paying students and take all the same exams. They work for an employer on the other 4 days a week.
The course runs Monday 9am-4.30pm or Mon/Thursday 6pm-9pm evening class.
