Revision Strategies: Hints, Tips & Useful Information

The Library staff have teamed up with the Sixth Form department to create a brand‑new revision guide – packed with study strategies including how to make effective revision notes, creating a revision timetable, understanding why revision is so important and a ‘What kind of learner are you?’ quiz.

To help you get organised, the library has created revision stationery packs for learners. Pick one up from the library desk while stocks last!

Study Space, Book Support & Past Papers

Need somewhere quiet to work? The library offers:

  • Dedicated study spaces for focused revision
  • Computers available for student use
  • Help locating subject‑specific books, or help with using eBooks
  • Support in finding past papers

Mindfulness Activities for Study Breaks

Studying for long periods can be overwhelming, so feel free to try mindfulness activities in our library’s wellbeing area. These include:

  • Colouring
  • Loom bands
  • Jigsaw puzzles
  • Bracelet making
