If you are successful in applying for a post which has access to children or vulnerable adults, you’ll be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Having a criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from obtaining a post. All cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
