ESOL = English as a second or other language.
A holistic approach to learning
You will improve your English language, learn about British culture and citizenship, and gain vital skills for a variety of purposes, including employment, further study or communicating with English-speaking friends and family. There are also opportunities for you to practice your English in our wellbeing and conversation sessions.
We also offer a special course for students aged 16-18 years old; the Welcome course. As part of the Welcome course, you will study English and maths. You will also learn about wellbeing and British culture.
If you are a person seeking sanctuary, please find more information here.

I always wanted to come to college, I needed to come into college to improve my English and it was a nice place to be. I liked how there were so many methods of teaching, from presentations to watching videos and putting our skills into practice. That was great when it came to passing our exams as we could relate back to our experiences within the classroom.
