If you want to progress your knowledge from Level 2 into more advanced, specialised areas such as Fault Diagnosis or Climatic Control Systems then this is the perfect course for you. It will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to progress into employment. The course is both practical and theory based and is held at our main campus which has purpose built garages in which to gain hands on experience.

Course Structure
Key modules on this course include: Repair Techniques on all Vehicle Systems, Fault Diagnosis and Repair using Electrical and Electronic Diagnostic Equipment, Air Conditioning and Climatic Control Systems Operation and Repair, Routine Safety Checks, English and Maths (english and Maths is mandatory for learners up to the age of 18 or until they obtian a grade 4)
Entry Requirements
To do this course you will need GCSEs grade 3 in English and maths & A relevant Level 2 qualification or industry experience.

Written assignments, practical assignments, portfolio
Fees and funding
Free For Eligible 16-18 year olds and First Full L3 for 19+ year olds. Adult Learner Loans available, course costs apply.
Progression
Upon successful completion of the course you will have a highly regarded motor vehicle qualification giving you the in depth skills and knowledge you need to gain employment in the industry. Apprenticeships are still an option at this stage as well.
