This course will be delivered fully online through the college’s VLE, where students can update and refresh their digital skills and knowledge in readiness for starting their course in September. Students will develop skills that will support them in their personal lives and education, learning how to create bookmarks, use search engines and other key tasks required to effectively navigate the internet and find information. Another key aspect of this course is a refresher on digital safety and security to support digital collaboration.

On successful achievement students will be awarded an NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Digital Skills which can be added to CVs to enhance employment prospects.
