Many children experience mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, and conduct disorder, which can be directly linked to their life experiences. The emotional health of a child is as important as their mental health, so it’s crucial for those working with children and teens to have a solid understanding of mental health concepts, risk factors, and impacts.
This course is made up of five units:
- Children and young people’s mental health in context
- Factors which may affect children and young people’s mental health
- Children and young people’s mental health concerns
