NCFE Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care

This course will update/refresh students on their skills and knowledge of the adult social care sector in preparation for starting their course in September. Students will gain fundamental knowledge within the healthcare sector to help prepare them for future employment and further learning. They will also develop a good awareness on what adult social care is and what care is currently provided.

Units covered:

  • Introduction to Adult Social Care
  • Introduction to the Values and Principles of Adult Social Care
  • Awareness of Communication in Adult Social Care
  • Awareness of the Roles and Responsibilities of an Adult Social Care Worker

On successful achievement, students will be awarded an NCFE Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care, which can be added to CVs to enhance employment prospects.

This online course will take two weeks to complete through our E-Assessor platform.
