Shianne Ambers completed the level 3 extended Diploma in Performing arts at Chesterfield College, during her studies Shianne showed leadership skills within dance and assisted in choreographing numbers for group performances. Outside of college Shianne continued to develop her dance knowledge by studying for her IDTA teaching qualifications, which she achieved with flying colours.
In her second year, Shianne set up her own dance school ‘Shianne Ambers School of Dance’ which continues to grow, Shianne and her team now run multiple classes weekly in various styles such as Musical Theatre, Ballet and Acro to name a few. Shianne is also taking her students to perform on Broadway which is a fantastic achievement.
Shianne will be working with the performing arts department this year to offer work experience placements and will speak to our current students about her career pathway and success. We can’t wait to welcome her!
