Summer Bridging Work

In order to provide you with an insight into your chosen subject(s) and lay the foundations for your learning, please complete the summer bridging work for each subject you have chosen to study.

You are welcome to explore the other subject areas to help you decide which A-levels are right for you.

Please ensure that all completed work is handed in to your tutor(s) during your first lesson.

(Note, there is no bridging work for GCSE Maths and GCSE English)

Keep in Touch Event

We’ll confirm the exact event date and time of the event closer to the time and update the information here.  We will also send you an email confirming the date and time of the keep in touch event with instructions for booking a place.

We know the time between your course interview/offer and enrolment can feel like a bit of a waiting game – that’s why we run our Keep In Touch events to keep you informed, excited and supported every step of the way.

What to bring

Please ensure you bring the following information with you to enrol.

Proof of all your grades/qualifications including English and maths to ensure we can check that you meet relevant entry criteria.
Identification such as your passport, national insurance number card or letter, driving licence, birth certificate, marriage certificate, or national ID card.
Parent/Legal Guardian Contact Details for at one or both parents, including mobile phone number and email address so we can provide them with important information and updates.

Uniform and Materials

Uniform is not required for A-level study/sixth form, however, we do ask that you dress appropriately for the weather and wear sensible clothing and shoes for safety purposes.

Chesterfield Sixth Form

Located in the heart of Chesterfield, finding the college is straightforward. Simply enter “Chesterfield College” into your preferred mapping app for precise directions to the campus.

We have a large, free car park for students, staff and visitors to use. This is located on Infirmary Road on the left hand side of the campus as you approach, between East Blocks 2 and 3.
