Validated by Sheffield Hallam University, this course aims to develop you as a confident, knowledgeable and effective practitioner to work with children and young people in education and learning settings.

Depending on your career aims, you can choose to specialise in early years or teaching assistant pathways. You will be encouraged to reflect on your practice and enhance your knowledge through the theory covered on the course. Your work setting is used for work-based projects, activities and research so everything you study will be relevant to your everyday work.

Entry Requirements

You will need a Level 3 Diploma or equivalent, GCSE maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or be wiling to attain during programme) and have a placement/employment in a relevant sector.
