This course is suited to those with an appetite to develop skills and knowledge in all areas of performing arts. As a performing arts student you’ll have access to our bespoke facilities including an in-house studio theatre, private dance space and costume and props store.

All of our staff come from a professional performing arts background so they can help you develop the skills needed for a career in this competitive industry.

Course Structure

Throughout the year, learners will develop acting, vocal, movement and production skills and work collaboratively on key projects and performances.

Learners will study a number of key units including: Principles of performance, Engaging with an audience, Introduction to professional practice, Critical and contextual awareness, Performance and production skills and context, Preparation for specialist study and Collaborative performance project.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above – must include English, Maths and a creative subject (extracurricular performing arts experience will be considered). You will also take part in a group audition workshop, showing your performance skills and passion for performing arts (acting/movement/vocal).

Free For Eligible 16-18 year olds and First Full L3 for 19-23 year olds. Adult Learner Loans available, course costs apply.
