This Bench Joinery course is right for you if you want to work in the industry or you’re already employed and require a recognised industry qualification. It will help you to develop your existing skills and knowledge and introduce you to more advanced techniques.

During this course you will be asked to carry out work experience that is relevant to the subject you are studying. This is with an external company and allows you to put what you will learn in the classroom into practice. It will also help you to develop a variety of different skills. Upon completion of the course and the industry placement, it can also help you to secure an apprenticeship, employment or assist you with your application for university. We recommend that you start thinking about your placement as soon as you have applied for your course and consider potential employers you may want to undertake the placement with to help you get the most out of the experience.
