If you want to start a career as a Carpenter or Joiner then this is a great course to get a solid understanding of the skills and knowledge to be successful in the industry. You’ll study on a practical and theoretical basis to get a grip on the technical aspects and you’ll also improve your Maths, English and ICT through Functional Skills sessions.

Free for Eligible 16-18 year olds. Adult funding available dependant on learner circumstances otherwise course costs apply.
Progression
You can progress on to a Level 2 Diploma in Site Carpentry or Bench Joinery. You can also seek employment and, if successful, progress on to an Apprenticeship.
