You must be studying a full-time course in the sixth form, at college or university, which lasts at least one academic year and be no more than 19 years old at the time of your application.

You may only apply ONCE for this grant.

Your application will only be considered if:

  • your application is signed by your tutor AFTER you have started your course,
  • you give us your permission to check with your school, college, or university that you have taken up your place, and
  • you have provided all the information requested on the form (all the boxes are correctly filled in).
  • Applications must be completed and returned by 10 October 2022

The Governor’s will meet in Late October and if you have been successful, you will receive your grant by early November.

Unlike a loan that you pay back over an agreed time period. A grant is a sum of money that doesn’t need to be repaid. Essentially it’s free of charge. This is a great opportunity for our students to receive financial support for their studies and think about progression that might have been dismissed due to financial struggles.
