Understanding Bursary: A Parent Information Session

If your child has a conditional offer to study with us in September, we warmly invite parents, guardians and carers to attend an important Parent Information Session focused on bursaries and financial support available to support your child’s education.

Please note: This session is specifically designed for adults whose child is due to start College in September. It is not intended for students to attend independently, as the information shared will focus on processes, eligibility, and application details that require parental or carer involvement.

To qualify for a bursary, the household income threshold is £38,000 (please note this is subject to change).  If your total household income is over this amount, unfortunately, you/your child will not qualify for a bursary and therefore should not attend this session.

During the session, we will cover:

• Clear and practical information on the available bursaries

• Eligibility criteria and application processes

• Key deadlines and required documentation and evidence

• Guidance on completing applications successfully

• Opportunity to ask any questions you may have in a supportive and confidential setting.
