
Level 2 Children and Young People’s Mental Health course
What does the course involve?
We are offering a FREE* 4 week course for those interested in learning and gaining an accredited qualification in children and young people’s mental health. The course is ‘hybrid’ so will take place both online and in person.
Our delivery times are 10:00am – 3:00pm. The course runs from the 22nd September 2025 to 17th October 2025.
*Requirements for the course:
- Must have a laptop or access to a laptop for the duration of the course
- Must be 19+ as of August 2025.
- Be a British citizen, and EC/EEA national or a Commonwealth citizen, or a foreign national with no restrictions on your stay in the UK.
- Must have 3 years continuous residency in the UK.
- Must be unemployed or earning £25,750 or less to be eligible.
Our Level 2 Children and Young People’s Mental Health course provides learners with a solid understanding of mental health and its importance during childhood and adolescence. The course explores factors that may affect well-being, along with the impact that mental health concerns can have on development and daily life.
Learners will gain knowledge of common conditions and their signs, as well as strategies to promote positive mental health and resilience. The course also highlights the vital role of communication, safeguarding, and the support offered by professionals and organisations.
By completing this course, learners will be equipped with valuable knowledge and skills that can support progression into further study or careers in education, care, or health-related settings.
