2D Games Taster Session

Experience using a simple 2D game engine to help develop a short and simple game using basic mechanics and sprites.

Please arrive at the main college reception on Infirmary Road to sign in. You’ll be collected by a tutor and taken to our specialist games suit for this taster session.

Within this taster, you will get to experience using a simple 2D game engine to help develop a short and simple game using basic mechanics and sprites. This taster is to help lead into Games Design as a potential career and study option.

Eventbrite is not a college service, however we acknowledge it is a widely used and reputable service for events management.

• To aid organisation of college events, attendee information may be shared with the relevant staff in the College e.g. list of attendees could be provided to the college host.

• We will store your information securely, so that we can communicate to you about the event (e.g. cancellation of event, changes to the itinerary, a satisfaction survey).

• We delete our access to personal information on Eventbrite after 6 years (this mean our access not how long EventBrite retain the data for).
