Delivered one day a week, 2-5pm, this qualification will prepare you specifically for working in the sports massage sector dealing with injured clients. You will develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to work with clients who have recent non-acute injuries and preexisting conditions. Massage techniques gained at Level 3 such as corrective frictions and soft tissue release are developed further whilst a deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology will aid your development as a massage practitioner.

Entry Requirements
You must be over 18 years old, physically able to do the work and have good communication skills. You must hold a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy qualification.
Assessment methods
There are no formal exams for this course.

Upon successful completion of this qualification employment opportunities are available in health clubs, leisure centres, sports centres and clubs as well as self employed opportunities either on a mobile or home/studio basis.
