The Top Up allows you to achieve the Supporting, Teaching and Learning Level 3 Diploma if you already hold the Supporting, Teaching and Learning Level 3 Certificate.

Course Structure
The Top UP (Diploma) consists of 5 units including:
Supporting children and young people’s speech, language and communication development, Understand how to support bilingual learners, Understand how to support learning of children and young people with special education needs and disabilities, Support children and young people during transitions and support the role of play, leisure and extra-curricular activities.
Entry Requirements
It’s essential you are well established and an experienced teaching assistant and have at least 6 months continuous experience and working a minimum of 12 hours per week before commencing on this course, this can be a voluntary postition or employment. You must already hold the Supporting, Teaching and Learning Level 3 Certificate. You must already hold the Supporting, Teaching and Learning Level 3 Certificate.

Progression
