This Level 4 BTEC HNC in Construction Management for England (HTQ) covers the Design and Build specialism.

The course will greatly benefit construction professionals aiming to develop their skills and knowledge. It is also suitable for trainees aspiring to work or progress a career in site management, surveying, quantity surveying, estimating, facility management and project management and design. This course is taught by engaging, passionate staff with a wealth of extensive industry expertise.

The cost is £3497.50 per year with a total of £6995 for the full qualification over 2 years. This HNC can be supported by funding from CITB if your company is registered with them. Entry Requirements

Our typical entry requirements are:

  • GCE A Levels or T Level Level 3 Diploma or an Extended Diploma in a related subject
  • Relevant work experience
  • GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade 4/C or above

Assessment methods

The units are integrated into a programme of continuous assessment through assignments and timed tests. There are several components to the assessment, both theoretical and practical.

Progression

This course is particularly relevant to people already working in or looking to develop a career within the construction sector. Typical resulting career pathways include: Construction Site Supervisor, Site Manager, Planning Supervisor, Design and Build Co-ordinator or Construction Design Technician. Graduates can look to progress to Level 5 HND qualifications, FdSc or construction management degree options.
