This course is suitable for those who have completed a Level 2 qualification in Hospitality Services and those who have worked in the hospitality industry for some time. The course will provide learners with the opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed for a career in management within the hospitality industry. Amongst many trips throughout the year there will be the opportunity for an overseas residential during the course which will require an additional cost (£500-700).
Course Structure
During the course you will studying the following core units:
- Lead a team to improve customer service
- Develop productive working relationships with colleagues
- Provide leadership for your team
- Contribute to the control of resources
- Maintain the health, hygiene, safety and security of the working enviornment
You will also study a number of optional units which include:
- Running food outlets and events
- Provide learning opportunities for colleagues
- Contribute to promoting hospitality services and products
Entry Requirements
You will need to have successfully completed a Level 2 qualification in Hospitality Services or have relevant work experience in the industry.

Free for Eligible 16-18 year olds otherwise Adult Learner Loans available, costs apply.
Progression
Upon successful completion of this course you can choose to progress on to the Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Professional Cookery or enter employment within the hospitality industry in a number of roles including:
- Bar person/manager
- Catering/restaurant manager
- Hotel manager
- Kitchen supervisor/manager
We also hold strong links with Sheffield Hallam University for progression on to higher level pathways in Hospitality
