If you want to pursue a career in Painting and Decorating, then this is an excellent place to start. This course will be ideally suited to you if you can plan, have creative skills and who can use basic maths, volumes and measurements. As you would expect, you will need to be good with your hands.

Key modules in this course include: Prepare and Apply Paint and Wallpaper, Health, Safety and Welfare, Decorative Finishes, Erect and Dismantle Access Platforms, Quantities and Communication.
Entry Requirements
You must have a GCSE grade 3 in both Maths and English.
Assessment methods
Practical assignments.
Fees and funding

Progression
The course provides you with the opportunity to progress to the Level 2 Diploma in Painting and Decorating with the view to possible employment or an Apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating or allied trade.
