History is about the present and the future not just the past. If you don’t know where you’ve come from, you don’t know where you’re going. It opens up a fascinating and dynamic way of thinking about society and humanity. History is in demand from universities and employers because it requires you to retain and process complex knowledge and ideas, critically engage and analyse, and express ourselves clearly and accurately.
