Ross Casamenti plans to go international with his business degree

23 May 2022

Ross Casamenti, a Level 3 Business Student wants to travel the world with his career in the business sector. Ross received 84 UCAS points last year, which is the highest you can get so he is well on the way to his goal of becoming an international businessman. ross Casementi “I always knew I wanted to do business, I’ve always been quite business-minded so I knew it was the way. I like money and I like having money. I’ve always been interested in how I can make more money and I think that’s why I like business. Every module of my course is relevant to business. A lot of it is quite specialised as well. The unit I have just completed was international business and that’s very similar to what I’m doing at university so it’s all very interesting for me.”

Ross will be studying International Logistics and Supply Chain Management at University in September.

“I want to go into logistics, so I knew international business plays a large part in that and when I secured my university place in international logistics and supply chain management and I was doing a module on international business I thought it was perfect. I did the module at college and loved it, so I know I’m going to enjoy my university course. I want to work for Maersk internationally, there are so many opportunities in so many countries. They take people on from school level but obviously, a university degree is prefered. Everything I have studied if there’s an international element, I’ve enjoyed it more. So it looks like that’s the way I’m going. I’ve always wanted to work in different countries. England is lovely, but I’ve spent 17 years here, I’ll be 21 after university and I don’t plan on sticking around to see 22 in England.”

One of our Tutors helped Ross with his personal statement which was the reason he secured his place at Lincoln.

“The main part college played was the teaching, it is so good, I got 84 UCAS points last year which is the highest you can get. I think that is part of the reason my unconditional have come in as I’m a safe bet. I had a really good personal statement from my tutor and that is the reason I got my unconditional from Lincoln which is where I will be going in September.”
