ENROLMENT

Everything you need to know about Enrolment is on this page.

We’re really pleased that you are joining us or returning to us in September.

On this page you will find out everything you need to know about enrolment and joining The Chesterfield College Group.

What is Enrolment?

Once you apply to study at college you will have an interview and will be offered a conditional place on your chosen course. If you accept your place, you will need to enrol during the Summer before term starts.

You will meet your Tutors to check the course you are enrolling to is still correct for you and then it is a simple process of formally completing your enrolment documentation.

What happens at Enrolment?

During enrolment, we will confirm key personal data, take your photograph for us to issue you with your ID card, and ensure you have all the information you need for your first day.

This includes your timetable and start date for your course.

All full-time courses will be starting on the week commencing 15th September 2025.

Attending Enrolment

You will receive an email with a specific date and time to attend college for your enrolment activity.  Please make every effort to attend that session.  If you are unable to attend this session, please book an alternative session.

Any general enquiries about the enrolment process should go to Enrolment on 01246 500556 or email [email protected].

If you would like to make a change to your application, please contact Admissions at 01246 500500 or email [email protected]

Remember to check your emails carefully as all communications will be sent to the email address we hold for you.  The enrolment email will tell you everything you need to know for your visit.

Existing Student Information

Please note. If you are an existing student and you have been offered a place for September 2025 then you do not need to attend an enrolment session during the Summer unless you are emailed and requested to do so. Please check your emails for instructions on how to confirm your enrolment online.

Additional Support

If you need additional learning support or advice from our maths and English teams, they will be on hand to help throughout enrolment too.

Fully signed bursary forms can be processed during your enrolment visit if you bring all evidence required.

Worried about your GCSE results day?

Do not worry if you don’t get the grades you wished for. There is still a place for you at college!

You are able to study maths and/or English alongside your chosen subject.

Attend one of our late enrolment evenings to sort everything out and ensure you are studying what you want to study whilst completing your GCSE Maths and English course.
