My name is Lucy Moore, and I am the new Curriculum Manager for our new Employability Team.
The Employability Department has built a warm, welcoming, motivated and impactful team. A team made up of passionate individuals, who will support participants to work towards their aims and aspirations to get into long-term sustainable work.
The team and I are keen to work with local businesses in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area, supporting them with their recruitment and workforce skills needs. To achieve this, we plan to put in place courses relevant and specific to local industry needs. The team and I look forward to building our networks, meeting new people, and positively impacting our local communities.
Over the coming months, we aspire to deliver more industry focussed qualifications, to support individuals into work. We have recently received approval for the following areas:
- Customer Service (Retail/Hospitality/General)
- Customer Service in a Call Centre
- Warehouse and Logistics
- Teaching Assistant
- Health & Social Care
- Cleaning
