We’re proud to be able to bring you our Arts Festival 2021. This virtual interactive exhibition is a wonderful showcase of the work of our incredibly talented students.
Importantly, the Arts Festival 2021 offers a perfect opportunity to allow our students to celebrate their achievements with their families, caregivers and friends. It also gives them chance to share their work with other creatives and employers in the industry. Although we are looking forward to getting back to physical exhibitions in the future, we hope that by going virtual this year more people can enjoy visiting the exhibition work safely.
We are in awe of the wonderful work created by our visual arts, fashion, graphic design and digital technologies students. It has been a challenging year and we are proud that our students have still had the determination to produce such high-quality work. This certainly is true a celebration of their success and passion for their creative subject.
Chesterfield College has a long history of supporting people to develop skills for successful careers in the creative industries. The excellent facilities, including a range of well-equipped studios for everything from ceramics and silversmithing to fashion and theatre, have been the launchpad for many designers, artists and performers. The Arts Festival has been an integral part of the creative courses on offer. Therefore, it was important to continue the tradition once again this year, in spite of the challenging circumstances.
Fingers crossed next year we can hold our arts festival in person rather than in pixels. For now, please do take a look through the galleries. Above all, a big well done to every single student for producing such a high calibre of wonderful, creative pieces.
