As results days for GCSEs, A Levels and Vocational Qualifications get closer, we want to tell you how you will be able to access your grades.
Results will be available to students on the following dates:
- A Levels and Level 3 Vocational Qualifications on Thursday 17th August
- GCSEs and Level 2 Vocational Qualifications on Thursday 24th August
You have 2 ways to get your grades:
- Access your results online (from 8am) For A Levels, Level 3 Vocational Qualifications, GCSEs, Level 2 Vocational Qualifications
- Collect your results in person For A Levels, BTEC Applied Science and GCSEs only
As part of our continued commitment to you, advice and guidance will be available on both results days. You will have the opportunity to discuss your future with our trained advice and guidance staff as well as our dedicated curriculum specialists. Staff can also support you with any guidance on clearing or apprenticeships. Even if you access your results online, you are still welcome to come to college if you want to talk things through with staff. We look forward to seeing you soon and welcoming you back to College if you are returning to us in September. Collecting your results
You will need your college ID card or some other form of Photo ID.
Authorising someone to pick up results for you
You can authorise a person who you know and trust to collect your results on your behalf. In order to do this, you must send an email to examoffice@chesterfield.ac.uk and it is crucial that you send the email from your college email address. In the email, please include the full name of the person who you have authorised to collect your results and their relationship to you. You will also need to give the person you ask to collect your results a signed authorisation note/letter, which we will keep. The person collecting your results will need to bring a form of photo ID for yourself so we give out the right results. We will not be able to issue your results to another person without your signed permission and prior notice. These must be received by 9am Monday 14th August. Please attend the location indicated below on the results day:
A Level & BTEC Applied Science Programmes – 17th August

All other Level 3 Vocational Results – these will be available online or via your tutors.
GCSEs – 24th August
Attend the Heartspace from 8am to 10:30am Attend South Block 6th Floor from 10:30am to 4pm
Level 2 Vocational Results – 24th August
These will be available online or via your tutors
From Thursday 17th/24th August, results will be with the Exams Team and can be collected from their office – South Block, Ground Floor, Room S030.

Certificates will be posted to all students when they are received from the Awarding Body, but that will be in the Autumn.
