It’s ok to swap subjects

“I was originally studying Law, Politics, and Sociology. I decided to swap Politics for the Philosophy course which I am enjoying and keen to learn more about going forward.”

Working at your own pace

“You can work at your own pace and it’s a lot more relaxed. I was glad I could pick three subjects as it gave me a choice and I didn’t have to make just one decision. It gives me a bit more time to explore my options before university. “

Learning positive skills

“My experience here at college has been all positive. I have gained various skills by starting college like time management, to make sure I am completing my work and meeting deadlines. I have also learned how to work independently.“

The tutors are really helpful

“I chose to come to Chesterfield College because I thought it was the best opportunity for the course and A-Levels I wanted to do. I would definitely recommend anyone to come to the Sixth Form at Chesterfield College as the tutors are really helpful and let you work independently but are also there for you when you need help.”

Next stop, university

“The next step in my career is to go to a university and further my studies in Sociology and Philosophy. I want to learn as much as I can as I am super passionate about these subjects. “
