Entry Level 3/Level 1 Award Digital Functional Skills

This qualification aims to upskill your digital knowledge in the following key areas:

• Using devices and handling information
• Creating and editing
• Communicating
• Transacting
• Being safe and responsible online

You will need to carry out a digital initial assessment before commencing the course and then you will work online using the CENTURY platform to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to pass the assessment. This is offered at Entry 3 and Level 1 and will be delivered through a hybrid delivery model consisting of online CENTURY sessions and short face to face classes for those that require it.

This course is fully funded (free) to eligible students.

Am I eligible?

• You must currently live in England
• You must have been resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study
• You must be over the age of 19
• You must not be on an apprenticeship
• You must undertake an initial assessment to ensure you are suitable for the course you are interested in
• You cannot have achieved a similar sector-based qualification at the same or higher level
