Course Overview

This Level 1 programme helps you adjust to college life whilst building your confidence and coping skills in everyday situations.

It has been designed to bridge the gap between the familiarity of school and the unfamiliarity of a new college.

Could this course be for you?

Are you too old for school but college feels daunting? Are you especially nervous about meeting others? Do you need a bit of time to catch up on some social and emotional skills? Do you need a bit of time to work on your independence and resilience before focusing on a career route?

If you said "yes" to any of the above, we can help you 'Step up' to the challenge at your pace.

As well as completing the course, you will go on trips and visits related to your units (additional costs apply), work on projects and events, complete tasters in different areas of the College and complete internal and external work experience.
