Course Overview

This course combines both the Pearson Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Computing AND the OCR Cambridge Technical Foundation Diploma in IT (Infrastructure Technician). We alternate each year. This course is ideal if you're looking to develop skills to access a range of IT Support and networking job roles or progression onto degree level course pathways. The modules are designed to develop your skills in digital security, building and maintaining computer systems and networks.

Work experience is a key part of this course.

Please note – each course takes one year to complete. Each course is worth 1 ½ A levels. By completing both years you will receive two qualification certificates. For those who are aged 19 or over during the second year, course fees may apply (learning loans are available - please speak to our admissions team for guidance).

This course can also be used to support learners who already have UCAS points and are looking to study a one year full-time qualification to aid with progression to university-level courses.

Entry Requirements

As a starting point we would be looking for candidates with 5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above including English and maths
