Course Overview

Geography combines the study of both social and natural science. During the course you'll look at the earth and its atmosphere, as well as how human activity can affect them. You'll also look deeper in to the natural environment and how human culture interacts with different landscapes. The course will provide you with an understanding of where things are found, why they are there and how they can develop over time.

Course Content

Modules include: Water and carbon cycles, Hot desert, coastal and glacial systems, Hazards, Ecosystems, Contemporary urban environments

Entry Requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (including English and maths).

Progression

Upon successful completion of this course, you can choose to progress to further study at university or enter employment.
