Level 3 Diploma in Theatrical, Special Effects and Media Make Up Artistry
Caitlin Wilson says studying a media make-up course at Chesterfield College gave her access to fantastic work experience and support from industry-trained tutors. Her Level 3 qualification has allowed her to perfect the skills she needs to move on to study a BA Hons in Special Effects Make-up at Bradford University. She said:
“This course has given me so many opportunities to broaden my skills and take on so many interesting challenges as a make-up artist. I’ve met so many different people from industry, attended beauty events, done make-up for college stage performances and on film sets too.
I have learnt skills I never thought possible and tutors have given me the confidence to share my work. They really support you and push you to achieve things that will help you get noticed in the industry.
I have learnt so much here and now I know I want use my skills and do what I love working on film and TV productions in the future. I am excited to be able to develop my skills and learn more about special effects at university.”
