Pinelodge Holidays is a family-owned business which operates two 5-star award-winning lodge holiday parks in Derbyshire; Landal Darwin Forest near Matlock and Landal Sandybrook near Ashbourne.
We are currently recruiting customer service-focused individuals to join our friendly reception team at Landal Darwin Forest. The park is ideally situated between Matlock and Bakewell but due to its location does not have public transport links.
We are looking for outgoing and enthusiastic people who enjoy working with the general public. We pride ourselves on the exceptional customer service our guests receive and the ideal candidates will appreciate the importance of their role in achieving our company Mission Statement which is to “Delight every guest so they wish to return.”
As a member of the Front of House Reception Team, you will be responsible for welcoming guests to the park and answering questions both in person, over the phone, and by email about the accommodation, the park’s facilities and the local area. You will also be required to check availability & make bookings for holidays and onsite facilities. Full training will be given but a friendly and approachable manner is essential.
Candidates should have a confident and friendly telephone manner, be willing to undertake a range of administrative duties and have excellent oral and written communication skills. The successful candidates will receive full training on how to use our reservations database and our website booking system but should be IT literate and willing to learn. The successful candidates will need to be able to work as part of a team and under their own initiative.
We currently have a part-time position available. The role is for 6 hours per week on Sunday 2:00pm to 8:00pm.
The successful candidates will report to the Reception Manager and their working hours will include daytime, evening and weekends, including Bank Holidays. Set shifts are as above but some flexibility on working hours will be necessary to accommodate holiday cover.
