Level 2 Diploma – Performing Engineering Operations – Manufacturing Engineering

This course will be focused around Manufacturing Engineering , you will work towards a range of manufacturing units, this will then be followed with an employer based project whilst developing your english and maths skills in preperation for Level 3 T levels.

During this course you will learn modules such as:

Complying with statutory regulations and organisational requirements

• Carrying out engineering activities efficiently and effectively
• Using and communicating technical information
• Marking components using hand tools and fitting techniques
• Carrying out Milling or Turning activities
• Additive manufacturing (3d Printing)

You must have an interest in engineering. You must be willing to learn and develop yourself. Have a grade 4 or above in Maths.

Practical assessments, written answers, portfolio of evidence

Free for Eligible 16-18 year olds. Adult funding available dependant on learner circumstances otherwise course costs apply.

Successful completion of the Level 2 course and remaining GCSE will give you the opportunity to progress onto a Level 3 Full time course, an Apprenticeship or a Level 3 T Level.
