This course is designed to kick-start your career and provide the necessary skills and techniques for you to become a qualified hairdresser. Learning takes place in our commercial salon, Looks, giving you real customer experience alongside theory and practical sessions. You will also be required to complete an industry placement during your studies, something we help to support you in finding/taking part in.
Throughout the academic year you will complete more minor assignments and projects that will help guide you towards/give you the confidence to complete your course. Your final qualification will then be based upon assessment of practical skills in salon environment, completion of on-line multiple choice exams, assignments, presentations, and observation of inter-personal skills.
