This course is intended to provide learners with a broad introduction to working in the Creative Industries sector, equipping learners with underpinning knowledge and skills specific to the sector alongside a range of transferable employability skills
Course Structure
Learners will study a range of skills across the Creative Industries including drama, dance, vocal skills, art & design, digital design, photography, stage production, and sound. Students work towards three main projects over the year which incorporate skills and techniques from a range of creative disciplines.
Entry Requirements
You will need a strong passion or interest in the Creative Industries. Aptitude will be judged at interview. If you have not achieved a grade 4 in GCSE English and Maths you will study this as part of your programme.

Free for Eligible 16-18 year olds. Adult funding available dependant on learner circumstances otherwise course costs apply.
Progression
We want to see you progress not only in your creative practice but in your aspirations, career and education. We offer a natural progression to Level 2 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts or Level 2 Diploma in Art & Design and also offer a Level 3 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts, a Level 3 Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design & Communication and a Level 3 Diploma in Photography.
Career wise, the Level 1 course would place you at a good starting point for progression into industry-related apprenticeships. It could also lead to entry level positions in the following areas/roles:
