Results days – arrangements for students

This year, results days for GCSEs, A Levels and Vocational courses all fall earlier than usual due to the change in exam arrangements and assessment during lockdown.

The college will be opening its doors for anyone who feel comfortable to pick their results up on campus, but with a few precautionary measures to ensure both staff and students remain safe.

  • To collect your results in person you will need your college ID card or other form of photo ID.
  • Even though restrictions are easing, we ask that you continue to wear an appropriate face-covering when you enter the building.
  • We ask that you respect social distancing measures and be aware of the rights of our staff and others attending the site in this regard.
  • Please stay updated with national and local guidance in relation to COVID-19 and follow guidance in relation to social behaviour. We will do the same and inform you closer to the planned event if any changes are necessary.
  • We may need to operate a queuing system outside of the building which will be marked out, however waiting times will be minimal.
  • Please do not leave your home if you or anyone in your household has COVID symptoms.

You can authorise a person who you know and trust to collect your results on your behalf.  In order to do this, you must send an email to examoffice@chesterfield.ac.uk and it is crucial that you send the email from your college email address.  In the email, please include the full name of the person who you have authorised to collect your results and their relationship to you.  You will also need to give the person you ask to collect your results a signed authorisation note/letter, which we will keep. The person collecting your results will need to bring a form of photo ID for yourself so we give out the right results.  We will not be able to issue your results to another person without your signed permission and prior notice.  These must be received by Friday 6th August.

Different arrangements are in place for the collection of A Level, GCSE and vocational qualification results.
