National Careers Week (NCW) is a celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help you if you're leaving education.

Between the 2-6th March our Guidance Team will be holding events 11.30am-1.30pm at:

  • Infirmary Road (Monday)
  • Lockoford Lane (Tuesday)
  • Tapton House (Wednesday)

During which they will give students an opportunity (via a rather large interactive screen) to research career goals and take part in competitions such as Guess the Salary (in a Price is Right stylee) and Guess the celebs first job to win some top prizes.

CV templates will also be available alongside advice on interview techniques and much more! We'll also have our 'Selfire Frame' which you can pose with, telling us your #dreamjob - look out for these on Twitter and Facebook!

Each day during NCW we'll also post two 'careers of the day' on Facebook and Twitter, looking at the areas of employment expected to grow in the coming years.

Any current students really shouldn't miss this event as not only will it be really helpful it will be loads of fun too!
