Course opens up a new career for Simon

Yes, you can - Simon Bennett

Simon Bennett, age 38 from Glapwell says his grade 5 GCSE in English helps him to get one step closer to the career change he is aiming for.

After working in retail for 20 years Simon is studying on an Access to Higher Education course to enable him to fulfil his dream of becoming a nurse.

He said:

“I couldn’t get my university place without this GCSE so there is a lot riding on it. I passed my maths last year so it was really important to get my English grade as well. It wasn’t always easy juggling the deadlines of my access course with revising for this but the tutors were really supportive and it’s obviously paid off.”

The Access to Higher Education course allows students wanting to go on to university level courses to prepare for studying at the advanced level and gives you vital UCAS points to access the course you are interested in.

Simon needed to update his GCSE maths and English qualification before he could apply for university so we helped him to get the grades he needed to get pme step close to becoming a nurse.
