Students promote 5 ways to wellbeing ahead of event
Social care and childhood studies students have joined forces with Derbyshire County Council, and the Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, to put together an event designed to highlight how doing 5 simple things in life can help you to stay healthy and improve your happiness, following the proven Connect 5 model.
In the run up to the event on Thursday 9th November in the Heartspace of the College’s Infirmary Road campus, a social media campaign running across the college’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram accounts will give handy tips and hints about small things which people can work into their everyday lives to help them improve their mental and physical health.
The event will give people a chance to meet many different organisation and try out a range of activities to help them embrace the 5 ways to wellbeing .
