Come and explore 5 ways to wellbeing at a special event
Join us on Thursday 9 November between 10am and 4pm for a special event coproduced by social care and childhood studies students, Derbyshire County Council, and the Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, designed to help you find out more about the 5 ways to wellbeing.
A whole host of local organisations and teams from across college will be in the Heartspace to promote the Connect 5 approach which supports positive mental health and wellbeing by introducing 5 things people can easily build into their lives by being active, connecting with the people around you, noticing the positives, learning and giving.
There will be an opportunity to try a wide range of free activities, looking at everything from creative arts to how diet can affect mood and much more.
Here are just a few of the organisations you can meet at the event;
- Derbyshire Young Carers
- Looks Beauty Salon
- Chesterfield College Fitness Suite
- The Volunteer Centre
- Victim Support Services
- First Steps
Get your event passport when you register and take part in the activities to get enough stamps to earn yourself a FREE smoothie.
